Towards the end of December 2018, I did a full clear out on Goodreads because my Want to Read shelf had almost 3,000 books on it. I decided to set myself a challenge to try and actually read the books I have planned to read and been excited for. I got my Want to Read shelf down to 467 books that I still have an excited interest in reading. My goal is to start powering through and reading books from the shelf rather than getting distracted by other random books. I decided that I would take part in the Beat the Backlist 2019 reading challenge so and incorporate it into my goals.
There are 24 book challenges in Beat the Backlist which works out to 2 per month. I will update this list each time I read a qualifying book.
